How are you all this Tuesday evening?....as promised I am writing again and enjoying keeping you all updated, thus, I hope this latest blog finds you all well and a good weekend had by all!!!
Miss Phoebe has been fantastic since we last updated, having the start of a cold last week she has made an excellent recovery and after the little bump and scrape, her nose has healed incredibly quickly, being a superb sign that her bloods are working well. We are due to see Rob in clinic again on the 9th October and we continue to hope that Phoebe’s T-Cells will have stabilised.
Phoebe is doing all the so called normal things we can expect from a two year old, she is lovely company and continues to amaze us with her somewhat mature understanding of everything around her and our life in general. Ade and I, as her parents, are so so proud and just take a great amount of pleasure in watching her developing so well and sometimes what seems like an extraordinary pace. Every day she is surprising us with new words and phrases along with her astonishing memory for lyrics, this I’m sure she gets from her dad, maybe we have another budding DJ in the family…..some of you may know Ade is wicked behind a set of turntables and his knowledge of music and the ability to remember dates etc flabbergast us from time to time….Phoebs has her favourites and particularly loves a good warble to The Killers ‘Human’, I must do more videoing and hope to capture a little of this for you!!
As mentioned in the last update, we were remembering Eleanor’s birthday this weekend and can’t believe she would have been 6. Thank so much for all the lovely messages we received from you all, its touching that she is remembered so fondly. Since Eleanor passed, each year our friends gather around us to share the day, there is always a great atmosphere as Eleanor’s playful spirit lives in and around all of us. In the last few years, we have enjoyed a trip to the Blue Planet at Ellesmere Port and even taken in a touch of ice-skating. It’s important to all of us that we all meet up and just enjoy the day with each other. Our fr
Once all the children were dry we headed off for a walk heading towards Thaw’s Cave. It was a few years ago since I last climbed up to the cave, although there are steps up to it, it’s a
So…..today, I have turned the page into a new chapter and decided to go start on my new fitness regime with a trip to the gym, it was slightly embarrassing when I had to ask one of our members to show me how to work the machines, bless him!!! After a good 15mins on the treadmill and pacing myself on the cross trainer, it was time for a few sit ups and surprised myself with the amount I managed…..hmm may just need to check my technique on that!!! so will book myself in for a fitness test…..aarrghh, will let you know how it goes!!!
For the rest of the weekend, looking after our promises in catching up with friends and family, we headed over to Ade’s cousins after a tasty lunch with Mum and Dad and caught up with Richard, Karen and their lovely boys, John Alfie and Stan. It was great to see you all….xxxx
My Mum and Dad have had the pleasure of Phoebe’s company so far this week and they have been getting out and about with a trip to Bakewell Market yesterday …Phoebe does love a road trip bless her, you just watch she’ll have that rucksack on before you say….backpacker!!! Finishing work after a great productive day, I collected Phoebe from Mum and Dad’s, aaah she was excited to see me, telling me all about her day at the park…..its the best feeling ever too see her after being away for a while and having no nap today she was really tired and ready for bed!!! Phoebe’s will be busy tomorrow I’m sure as she is off to spend the day with my cousin Margaret who having years of experience teaching primary school will have lots of things prepared to keep Phoebe active!
For now dear friends, take care and we look forward to catching up with you again soon. xxxx

Hi Guys,
Glad to see you have been out and about and enjoying the last few rays before the winter takes hold. I'm sure Phoebe will follow you in your footsteps Lynn and do the Duke of Edinburgh Award - she is starting young with the walking! Love to you all and prayers to Eleanor.
love Deb and family xxxx
