Hey Bloggers!!
Just a quick update tonight…hope you are all well out there and thanks very much for your lovely messages, texts, e-mails and kind comments we have been receiving, bless you for taking the time to contact us, you are too kind xx
Following on from our recent visit to the hospital on Friday, we remain positive and hopeful that the bloods taken last week will show that all the T-Cells have started to level out a little. We look to have the results back in a couple of weeks so we will keep you posted!! Rob is incredibly pleased with the progress Phoebe is making and delighted that her appetite is pretty much back to normal along with a healthy steady weight gain. It must be an amazing feeling for Rob and the nurses to see children in their care go on to make full recoveries knowing that their skill, knowledge and amazing care has brought healing to these children giving them the chance of a future. These are our angels.
We have been away with the caravan for the past couple of weekends, finding ourselves in Derby last week enjoying a great visit with our dear friends Andy, Helen, Calum, Holly and Rebecca, it was lovely to see you all and we look forward to catching up again soon xxx. Later in the day we had a complete impromptu visit to Matlock Bath and found that the illuminations and fireworks were taking place, which was a wonderful surprise!! We arrived early and as we had a few hours before the light display on the river, the aromas from the local curry house tempted us in. It’s great to see Phoebe’s appetite back and trying new tastes, she enjoyed her Poppadoms Korma and rice, bless her!! Fabulous restaurant called The Balti – http://www.thebalti.co.uk. – Well worth a visit!! Phoebe really enjoyed the weekend and loves being out and about..now she can run off!!!
This weekend found us heading off for Tarporley in Cheshire, opposite the Polo Club darling don’t you know, :o) our dear friend Helen grew up in and around the beautiful quaint village of Tarporley. A great place to pitch as we needed to visit Manchester for our monthly appointment, after a great few days away, its back to normal life… and we count that as a great miracle I guess!!
Take care dear friends until our next update next week….
For Sarah xx

Hi
Fabulous to see you all recently and Phoebe is looking so well. I still can't believe how much chinese she ate at Buffet Island!!! It was amazing to see her eating noodles by abundance, as it only seems like yesterday when we were trying to coach her to eat a few spoons of spaghetti!!
Glad you are all well and will catch up again soon. I remember going to Matlock to see the lights on a few occasions with Mike - It would nice to make a trip over with Owen.
Well take care and see you soon
All our love, always
