Good Afternoon Folks,
Welcome! We hope everyone is well out there and thanks for popping by. We are writing an early blog today as we may be having a few visitors passing through this afternoon and evening.
After a fairly restful sleep, Phoebe awoke again ready to eat breakfast although I explained we had to fast Phoebe was already planning her breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks in between! Mid-morning we were called down to theatre and as Phoebe has a canula in situ for access to her blood, the anaesthetists used this to administer the anaesthetic and within a few seconds she was under. The team in the theatre were very reassuring, explaining they would call us back as soon as she was waking. After an hour we receive the call to collect Phoebe, she recovered well and whilst she was still drowsy on the trolley, she was asking me to get her turkey and cranberry sandwiches ready..... bless her!!
Rob and Steven have updated us with regards to the plan and for now we are looking to begin a stronger chemotherapy tomorrow which we will continue up to our transplant arranged for 26th August. Further conditioning treatment will begin two weeks before but for now we press on with our plans and continue to take each day.
Our dear friend Helen has just joined us so I will sign off for now and we look forward to catching up with you again tomorrow xxx
Much love
Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor xxxx

Glad you managed to get the Hickman Line fitted today.
We hope Phoebe is resting up well following Theatre and tucking into her grated cheese or is it Turkey and Cranberry today!
We were reading your update last night and felt so bad for Phoebe having to fast all day without getting the procedure done...
It was really nice to meet you all in the Ward this week especially Phoebe.
I will no doubt be posting on here again soon however in the meantime I do really hope everything goes to plan. We are thinking of you all and are so happy we had the chance to meet you.

Hello lovely Oldfield Family,
so pleased to hear that you have a plan now of what is to happen and to read of Miss Phoebe's assertive and wonderful moments over the last few days.
Really tough days ahead for you all, which I know you will handle with your trademark beautiful stoicism.
Sending you love, hugs, energy and big smiles from down here in Hampshire,
Sheena, Rich ,Isobel and Archie xxx

Hello you lovelies! Had to smile at all the requests Phoebe had for food - so different from the last time you were in there! What a battle you had then. Plus she's learnt that your troops make amazing food!!
I was wondering the same as Lissa - is Phoebe asking much about what's going on and why?
Love and big big hugs to you all
