Thanks for popping by and welcome again to the next update in Phoebe’s remarkable recovery following her Bone Marrow Transplant.
As you can imagine Ade and I are immensely proud of Phoebe for her determined spirit to keep smiling throughout these challenging times and today was no exception. As many of you may know it’s been our regular trip to Manchester for the weekly clinic appointment. Phoebe began the day well with probably one of the best breakfasts she’s had since before her transplant, with a good bowl of porridge and a nice cup of tea (de-caff mind!!) down her, she was in fine form with lots of smiles ready for the day ahead.

Rob, Maged and the team will continue to watch and monitor Phoebe’s blood counts closely especially as they are rather low at the moment but considering they have increased from last week and she has had a runny nose, Phoebs is doing amazingly well. We need to be consistently stringent about hygiene to avoid the risks of catching infections, thus inevitably resulting in a stay in hospital…. therefore until the blood counts pick up we will stay in semi-isolation mainly around the home and just enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, fingers crossed.

Phoebe had a good nap on the way and awoke with such a

So…for now folks
