Transplant Day +10...A busy day....

Hi Bloggers,

How are our lovely bloggers out there, hope all is well where you are and thanks for joining us for today's update.

Phoebe is really well and she continues on her recovery with steady, positive progress which is just amazing. Blood tests are good and we may be seeing signs of engraft
ment, meaning being blood cells are starting to be produced...although we are still very much in early days. As mentioned before, here is a copy of a blood result...Ade is still struggling with this techie issue....any thoughts Mr Eardley????

Phoebe is struggling a little with her appetite which is to be expected at the moment as the effects of the chemo will start to show. Her taste buds may be affected too and this is why everything tastes...disgusterous!!!

A good word we heard from our bloggeroonies..Eve and Madeline!!!

Even though Phoebe has most of her medicines through her Hickman Line, she is now having to take some orally too and this is proving very challenging throughout each day...but we just have to do our
best and remind her how brave and courageous she is being. Rarely do we hear Phoebe complaining about anything other than her belly hurts a little and her bum is a tad sore, she hasn't mentioned about not wanting to be here, bless her!! Mind you...she has had a brilliant day today, starting with her very first school lession with Layla our school teacher. Layla will be visiting Phoebe three times a week for approx 30 mins and it was lovely to hear them chatting as Ade and I busied ourselves around the room. Layla was very impressed with Phoebe and she counted to 14!!! Well done my little sweetheart, we are very proud!!!

Then another visitor....here comes Becka, our music therapist..before we know it, each of us have an instrument a
nd are belting out a rendition of the Grand Old Duke of York...Phoebe was laughing as I did get a little over enthusiastic with my marching!!!

The last few days have been great and we have had some great visits from our dear
friends, Helen, Andrea and Estelle came over last night and whilst Ade spent some quality time with Phoebe we headed off to Tampopo www.tampopo.co.uk - It was fab to have the girls over and go for some tasty dinner...next is Dough and Apothecary...Estelle can tell you more about this restaurant...

Thanks to Eve and Madeline for the lovely home made muffins and biscuits, Phoebe loves the necklace too! Also thanks to Andrea, Bert and Molly for Phoebe's Peppa Pig Cards and magnetic calendar, we are changing this everyday and asking the staff in the mornings what the weather is like!!!

Once again, we have been inundated with some lovely gifts and firstly just want to say a quick hello to Mark (Easty), Jan, Freya and Noah who are avid followers of the blog, thanks guys for the wonderful gifts, Phoebe really enjoyed playing with the fuzzy fel
t this afternoon!! Hope you are all well. xxxx

Mum and Dad came today and brought with them an arm full of gifts including a wonderful roast dinner and our clean washing, bless them!!...Thanks to Sharon and Emma for Phoebe's lovely card and bear, he's so cute!! So glad you girls are enjoying the blog and we look forward to seeing you again soon...Go and see the girls in Longton Market, they have a great selection of tasty cheeses...as many of you know I am a huge cheese fiend.....recommend the low fat gouda!! Yum!!

Thanks Lesley for the Holy water and card from your visit to Turkey, hope you had a great trip and thanks for thinking of us.

Ade and I just want to thank everyone for your incredible support and no doubt all the love and positive energy coming from everyone is having a huge impact along with the great work of the team here....Thank you for being with us xxx

We dedicate tonight's blog to an incredible, brave and couragous little boy called William Simpson who has just celebrated his 4th birthday. William has many visits to Great Ormand Street Hospital to see the heart specialists....he is one special angel who is surrounded by a wonderful family and we ask if you will keep William and all his family in your thoughts and prayers....You are all amazing xxxx HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILLIAM xxxx

Catch you all tomorrow xxxx
Rest easy folks...

Much Love
Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor xxxx
