Transplant Day+6...A delightful day...

Good Evening Bloggers,

Many thanks for joining us again for an update on Phoebe's progress.
Welcome to all our new bloggers too and hope this posting finds everyone well.

Delightf
ul day here in Manchester and Phoebe has been in great humour keeping us all entertained. We had an enjoyable visit from Becka our Music Therapist and today Phoebe led the session choosing her favourite instrument being.....the Glockenspeil!!

Medically, everything is progressing well and the team here are doing an incredible job, watching Phoebe and the blood results very closely.

Thanks so much to everyone who has sent in such wonderful gifts for Phoebe you are all so kind. Arts and crafts were a main feature of the day and so pleased to say that the TV wasn't switched on until 5.30pm..that's a record!! Its so very easy just to switch it on in the morning and it then just tends to stay on all day....not that we get to watch anything but....you guessed it...Peppa Pig...and just recently Phoebe has been enjoying Angelina Ballerina along with her Cbeebies DVD's.

Today has been all about sticking and painting, this has been a real highlight of being on the Unit as I just get to play and look after my gorgeous girl...a simple and precious pleasure.
Thanks to Maria and Hannah for the lovely pictures and sticker book, its been lovely keeping in touch with you all again after all these years. Love to all the family.

The James Family have sent some wonderful gifts and pictures kindly done by Maddie, Alex and Chlo-Jo-Malo-Jo!! Thanks for your wonderful card and encouraging words Jude, look forward to catching up again soon. Phoebe will enjoy using her note book as she enjoys writing at the moment and will quite happily take dictation
when she writes her lunch menu out or Dad's shopping list!

Also to our special friends whom we met through the hospital when we were in Pendlebury for Phoebe's first transplant. Thanks Sally, Sam and Spirit Ella, Phoebe loved the gifts and has played with all the pictures and stickers all day, particularly loved the portrait of us Sam...that was great...Phoebe was captivated by the fabulous pink fibre optic lamp, especially tonight as she lay in bed with all the lights off, think it may have hypnotised her!!! God Bless you Spirit Ella, you remain very much in our thoughts and prayers. Phoebe and I talk fondly of you often xxxxx

Later this afternoon, our special little friend Cameron who is on Ward 84 at the moment having chemotherapy also sent Phoebe some great craft items and a handbag decorating kit, we look forward to doing one for your mum Gayna tomorrow!! Good to see you again Gayna, sorry I have been unable to pop round this evening but will catch you tomorrow.

Hello to our dear friends The Sproston's, Rob I hope you had a good night with Ade and Bert at Tampopo last night, thanks for the great magic colouring pack and wonderful pictures from Jack and Amy.

Guys, bless you, you have helped to make it another incredible day here and this of course all helps with the healing process. Thank you.

Special mentions for all our younger bloggeroonies tonight, we are really pleased you all enjoy reading the blog and looking at Phoebe's pictures. We will be doing a special gallery edition of the blog during the day tomorrow when we will show all the splendid artwork we have received this week.

Wishing our dear cousin Margaret who is celebrating her...well lets just say its a 'special birthday', so Happy Birthday Margaret, hope you have had a lovely day. Looking forward to spending time with you next week.

Tonight, I'd like to dedicate the blog to Dale who is also being treated here at Manchester. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

Thanks once again for your constant love, prayers and support. xxxx

Getting a little tired now, with much more to tell you tomorrow, I'll head off to bed and we'll catch you again tomorrow.

Rest easy.

Much Love

Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor xxxx
