Appetite of a Lion!!!

Hi Folks, Hope you are ok and thanks for joining us once again for the next installment of Phoebe's journey. Phoebe continues to make good progress and today recieved a blood transfusion for low iron levels. So thankyou to everyone for taking the time to do something pretty brilliant and give blood...without you Phoebe would be in a very difficult place.

We're ok over here in
Manchester..how are things where you are? Its amazing to think we have so many bloggers supporting us locally and now Phoebes journey is travelling all around the world..Bless you all for your constant love and support.

Phoebe is still eating very well and has the appetite of a lion as we continue with the steroid treatment. She is
almost unrecognisable as Phoebe now but of course we are grateful for this hearty appetite as some of you may remember how much weight she lost during her last transplant having the Norovirus for some six months. So just a brief update tonight as we are still awaiting results from blood cultures and routine tests...for now obs are looking good with no temperature and her ear is much better. Still has the cough but chest is clear.

Night for now folks, rest easy.
Much love Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor

Hi to you all

Such good news and I am glad that Phoebe is maintaining her appetite ready for the months ahead. Phoebe's birthday cake looks fantastic!! Hope to see you again soon and thank you so much for taking the time to keep us all updated. It makes me feel so much closer to you all and also to know how Phoebe, yourself and Ade are doing day to day.

Love to you all and sending lots of hugs

Hello from us all!

Good news to hear Phoebe's temperature is under control and that appetite is going strong! Hope to be able to come up to see you before we go away at the weekend. Thanks Lynn for doing the blog, like many others have said, it really does keep us close to you all and we appreciate that so much.

Wishing and sending much love,

Hi Oldfields!! I love that pic of Phoebe lying stretched out on her bed! And the ones of her cake. Glad to hear the ear thing is better, hope the cough clears up soon too.

Talked to Helen the other day and she was telling me about your conversation with her where you said Phoebe is being like a student cuz of the noodles etc! And then Phoebe shouting "don't call me that!" I was cracking up! She is such a character!!!

Still unpacking stuff over here at Casa Bardsley but it's starting to feel a lot like home now! Take care, hope your Sunday has been good.

Loads of love
