Hi Everyone,
Hope all is well this evening and thanks for joining us for another update...
We are gearing ourselves up for the visit to Manchester tomorrow for Phoebe's next chemotherapy treatment, she has been well today and there have been a few times where we thought there maybe a temperature creeping upon us but, this has just stayed under 37.8, should this reach 38.0 then we need to be watching it very closely and prepare ourselves for admission. As we are in Manchester tomorrow, it feels like we have been given a night's grace at home in our own beds!!
Phoebe was quite relieved and looked forward to her bed tonight, she is constantly feeling uncomfortable through eating so much, but try telling her when she has her mind set on a bowl of noodles amongst other things, bless her!! Tonight before Phoebe went to bed, we had some quality time chatting and having a hug on the couch for at least an hour with no TV, it was pure bliss. Phoebe is an amazing spirit and for the first time tonight she seemed a little weary and said...'I'll never get better Mummy', as you can imagine, I very quickly reminded her that she is doing brilliantly and being incredibly brave, reassuring her that it won't be long before she's running off around the play area at Trentham with her friends!! Definitely something to look forward to!!
Over the last few days I have been in contact with some family friends called Maria and her Mum Margaret. Margaret is currently attending an annual Prayer Conference in Birmingham, we have talked and Margaret has told me how Phoebe has been remembered in the prayers during this special time. It moved me to tears whilst she was explaining how people she had just met were so interested in listening to Phoebe's story and asking for updates whilst focusing on her during their prayers too. Now that truly makes us feel very overwhelmed that so many lovely people out there are helping us even just by thinking positive thoughts for us as well as taking their precious time to pray. Thank you so much to everyone...our angels xxxx
To all my dear friends heading off on their holidays this weekend, have a great time and safe trip. We look forward to catching up again soon. xxx

I hope tomorrow is a good day for all of you and that Phoebe does well..How upsetting it must have been to hear Phoebe say that..I am sure she will be just fine with all the love and prayers she gets every day..Keep up all your positive energy, I feel it all the way over here..I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and I wish the best to all of you...Say hi to your Mom and Dad for me.
