Good Evening Everyone,
Firstly sorry for the confusion on the date of yesterdays blog as I finished it after midnight and now unable to correct it!!
Well, another week done and hope you all have something nice planned for the weekend, whether you are jetting off on your holidays, out for a spot of retail therapy or just relaxing, we hope you have a wonderful few days.
Its great to be able to tell you that Phoebe is better and making great progress. Various blood tests have been done and have come back with good results. We are awaiting further results from blood cultures hence the reason we are still here at Manchester. Also, blood tests have now shown that Phoebe is neutropenic (low immunity) which means we will need to be in isolation at home. Its been a rather a good day and late afternoon, we moved into the same ward as Cheryl and Emma so its nice to be part of a little family...it is like being at home..if you catch my drift?
Chemo has gone well today, it finally finished around 9pm tonight and Phoebe has whispered that she feels a little sick so we have settled her off to sleep with some meds for that and hope we manage to get more than a couple of hours tonight. Temperature has settled and obs are lookin' gooood!!
Had a wonderful chat and coffee tonight with Helen and Andrea, thanks for making time to come over it's very much appreciated, you are an incredible support...I thank God for our humour, keeps me sane!!!
So peeps, keeping it short tonight....Catch you tomorrow.
Rest easy dear friends...
Lots of love
Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor.
