Good Afternoon Bloggers,
Well this is a surprise!! Hope you are all well and enjoying the bank holiday!
Just a quick and early update today as we have run a little behind with some of Phoebe's medicine and it will be quite late when we finish our last session on the nebuliser tonight.
Phoebe has been on great form today much better than yesterday. She has been playing with her breakfast tea set, making us all a cup of tea and toast!!
The nebulising treatment is going well and we should hopefully finish this tomorrow. The bloods results are currently showing that Phoebe will require a blood transfusion along with a platelet transfusion later today so .... THANKYOU so much for all you blood donors out there who go and give their time and blood!! We would be in a very difficult place without you!!
Wishing all our bloggeroonies a great first day back to school after the summer holidays, hope you've all had a great time.
Its really great to hear you guys enjoy reading the blog and making it part of your day, thanks to everyone for your continuous support and best wishes...you keep us going!!
For now, enjoy the rest of your bank holiday..
Much Love
Lynn, Ade, Phoebe and Spirit Eleanor

Ow do Est, Ade here.
A blood transfusion is mainly red blood cells which carry hemoglobin. Hemoglobin helps to carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. Before a blood transfusion Phoebe is usually pale but regains her colour after.
Platelets help blood to clot. Too low a platelet count can lead to continual bleeding from such as sudden nose bleeds etc. and the inability to cease bleeding from wounds. Too high a platelet count can lead to other problems caused by unecessary blood clotting.
All the best,
Ade
